Romania Oil and Gas Conference 2014

Romania Energy Center (ROEC) is for the 3rd consecutive year an official partner to Romania Oil & Gas Conference. Taking place on November 18-19, 2014 in Bucharest, the event focuses on current developments and opportunities for international oil and gas companies within the Romanian domestic energy market. The country holds a number of onshore and offshore petroleum basins which are considered under-explored, with both conventional and unconventional potential. The conference provides a great opportunity to discuss key topics such as the status of the gas infrastructure, pace of natural gas market liberalization, price deregulation, corporate governance in state-owned energy enterprises, technologies and development strategies for mature fields, or HSE regulations and how they affect E&P activities.

Day 1: 18th November 2014 will examine the supply options open to the projected Southern Energy Corridor that will eventually carry Central Asia, Caspian, Iranian, Iraqi and East Mediterranean gas flows via Turkey to Europe and future infrastructure development and investment in Central and South-East Europe.

Day 2: 19th November 2014 will cover the latest developments, strategies and opportunities within conventional and unconventional exploration & production across the countries of Central and South-East Europe including case studies and safety of offshore operations.
